The federal revenue collection totaled R $115.062 billion in February 2019, the Federal Revenue Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy said Thursday. Real growth (discounting inflation) compared to the same month in 2018 reached 5.36%. It is the greatest result of the historical series since the Real Plan, in 1995.
Revenues administered by the Internal Revenue Service (such as taxes and contributions) reached R $112,957 with a real increase of 5.46%.
From January to February, the collection amounted to R $275.487 billion, with real growth of 1.76%. Revenues managed by Revenue reached R $263.255 billion, with a real increase of 0.99%. Revenues from other agencies (mainly petroleum royalties) totaled R $12.233 billion, an increase of 21.81%.
