The Parliamentary Agricultural and Livestock Front (FPA) announced its support for the Pension Reform and its defense of a faster process of the project sent by the Executive to the Congress. In the weekly meeting held this Tuesday, Apr. 2nd, in Brasilia DF, together with representatives of the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA), the ruralist group presented what was disclosed as their final position regarding the proposal.

“We are going to do our best, but we will approve the pension reform,” said the FPA president, Deputy Alceu Moreira (MDB-RS), according to the advice given by the board.

Still, according to the FPA, Moreira acknowledged that there may be disagreement over the text sent by the government. He mentioned the Continuous Benefit Benefit (BPC) and the changes in rural retirement. He added that it would not be surprising if there were modifications of the bill in the National Congress.
