The Energy Research Company (EPE) reported that energy consumption in the country in February was 39,228 gigawatt-hours (GWh), up 1.7% compared to 38,571 GWh in the same month last year.
For the year, consumption totaled 78,741 GWh, 1.2% more than the 77,816 GWh in the first two months of 2017. In 12 months, consumption sum 466,055 GWh, 0.8% more than the 462,271 GWh the preceding 12 months.
