President Jair Bolsonaro has dinner with ambassadors from Muslim countries at the headquarters of the CNA in Brasilia on Wednesday. The meeting follows the president’s visit to Israel when he announced the opening of a business office in Jerusalem – for science, technology, innovation, commerce, and economics.

The CNA said that the meeting is to strengthen commercial partnerships between Brazilian agribusiness and the countries of the Islamic world. Forecast, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, is that 51 ambassadors are present.

At dinner with Bolsonaro and the Muslim ambassadors will be the ministers of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, Tereza Cristina, and Foreign Affairs, Ernesto Araujo, and the president of the CNA, Joao Martins.

Tereza Cristina said that the Islamic market, Muslims and Arabs are “big buyers of corn, soy, animal protein”. The minister said that during dinner with the ambassadors, it will be said:

– We continue here, we are great suppliers, we want to continue this partnership, this commercial cooperation. Brazil remains the best partner you can have. So, I hope all those who have confirmed are there.
