AM Resorts sales in Brazil increased significantly in 2018. According to data from the company, which belongs to the ALG conglomerate (Apple Leisure Group), there was a growth of 58% compared to the previous year.
The high, according to the company argues can be easily justified. Throughout the season, there has been an intensification of training and contacts with the agencies that most sell the brand’s resorts. There were more than 6,000 travel agents trained nationwide, including participation in Tourism fairs, Famtours, and Roadshows.
By 2019, the Caribbean group increases the bet in Brazil and should diversify the type of disclosure it makes by niches. The idea is to present new services to meet clients of leisure, marriage, honeymoon and also for Mice.
AM Resorts New Properties
In addition to the effort in disclosure, the current year should be marked by openings. In Mexico, the inaugurations include the Sunscape Star Cancun resorts, located in Puerto Cancun, scheduled to open in June; and the Now Natura Riviera Cancun in Riviera Maya, scheduled for the end of the year.
In Spain, the inaugurations include the Secrets Mallorca Villamil Resort & Spa in March; Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa and Amigo Fuerteventura Resort for May; and Dreams Lanzarote Resort & Spa in November.
Currently, AM Resorts operates 53 all-inclusive resorts, with establishments located in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Panama, Costa Rica, and Curaçao. In recent years, the administrator has revealed the intention to open a property in Brazil.
