ABPA Strengthens Alliances During FMA China 2019

During the event, the sector has intensified the institutional promotion to the Chinese authorities

In order to strengthen ties with the Chinese authorities, the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion (Apex-Brazil) participated over the past week China International Food, Meat and Aquatic Products Exhibition (FMA 2019), performed between days 29 and 31 in Shanghai (China).

Represented by the coordinator of the association access markets, Bruna Kassama, and with the participation of BRF and SEARA companies, ABPA had a unique institutional space at the event and participated in meetings with stakeholders and members of the organs of the Chinese government. At the same time, the organization has distributed promotional materials in Mandarin for the highly qualified audience of the event with information on companies and the productive differential of Brazil, as the quality of products, the health status and sustainable profile of the sector.

“Unlike other purely commercial events, the actions of ABPA in FMA China turned to closer relations with important figures for Brazil’s productive sector in China. Our goal was clear: to demonstrate that Brazil is a haven in helping Chinese food safety, “said Francisco Turra, president of ABPA.

Event with strong political and commercial character, the FMA China 2019 is organized with the support of the Ministry of the PRC Commerce and the General Administration of Customs of PRC (General Administration of Quality Supervision Original, Inspection and Quarantine of the Republic Chinese People ). In parallel, the ABPA also participated in the International Import & Export Food Policy, Laws and Regulations Summit (IFPS).
