ABPA Is Part of the FMA China 2019

Event will bring together the Asian country authorities at a strategic moment for the industry

The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion (Apex-Brazil) will participate, between 29 and May 31, the China International Food, Meat and Aquatic Products Exhibition (FMA 2019), Shanghai (China).

During the event, the ABPA will have a unique institutional space for exporters of poultry and the country s pigs. Promotional materials will be distributed in the action, with information about businesses and productive differential of Brazil, as the quality of products, the status health and sustainable profile of the sector.

Organized with the support of Ministry of Commerce of China and the General Administration of Customs of PRC (General Administration of Quality Supervision Original, Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC), the FMA is an event with strong political character and commercial.

In parallel, the ABPA also participate in the International Import & Export Food policy, Laws and Regulations Summit (IFPS), also in Shanghai.

“The actions in the FMA and the IFPS are part of a strategy for renewal of relations between Brazilian exporters and the Chinese market, this important time for the food supply assurance and food security of the Asian country,” says Francisco Turra, president ABPA, referring to the health crisis faced by China in the production of pigs with African swine fever outbreaks.
